Jonathan Lerer has been resident in the UK since 1986 and lives in London. However he is a native New Yorker, a graduate of Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts an post grad at San Diego State University in California.
His distinctive and exciting work has sold in department stores, boutiques and galleries in New York City, Las Vegas and London. He uses extraordinary, unusual minerals and stones, including fossilised pieces, to produce pieces full of drama and character usually set in silver.
His design work has won awards in Goldsmith's Hall Annual Jewellery Competition, and has also been a North American Finalist in DeBeers' Diamond Design Competition.
