Joanne Gowan is a fine artist jeweller with over 35 years of experience, she is also one of the organisers of Acquire.
​
Joanne creates one-off jewels and ‘picture’ pieces by hand in precious materials, often with representational themes, which stem from her sketching and watercolours during her time away from the workbench. The picture pieces are inspired by her passions for landscape, nature, history, archaeology, ballet and literature; each piece is entirely unique as fine art which can be enjoyed displayed or worn.
