Alexandra Simpson

is based in Richmond, Surrey;  making  contemporary yet romantic handmade jewellery with a delicate, graceful and sensual quality. Carving is her specialty; she works mainly in wax and metal but can also carve glass and stone.  She combines this technique alongside wire work, fusing and others to create miniature works of art.

 Her belief in the importance of quality and balance is reflected in the design, composition and materials used in her jewellery. Sterling silver and 18ct gold are to be found intertwined with healing, semi-precious and precious stones. Her pieces are inspired by nature and the fantasy of Art Nouveau.
